TIPS TO REUSE GLASS AND PLASTIC JARS
There are so many ways to reuse these items and it will help our planet as well. Here are some ways you can use them and get organized at the same time.
- In the garage and Storage shed:
- Use different size jars for Nails, Screws and Nuts & Bolts
- Bird seed
- Dog snacks
In the garden: Use small jars to save seeds after they have dried for planting in the spring
Arts & crafts:
- Use for buttons, stickers, art stamps
- paint brushes and for paint when doing small art projects
- safety pins
In the kitchen:
- Use to shake Eggs, Gravy mix or Pancake mix
- To store noodles, Rice, Beans, Flour, and Snacks
- Save left over food they seal tight and you can see through them. You can use them for drinking glasses for out doors so your good ones wont get lost.
- Use when packing school or work lunches if the plastic jars get lost no big deal and they seal tight so things wont spill.
- To give home made soups as gifts or extra foods you would like to share with a neighbor, you don't have to worry about the dish finding its way back home.
Home office:
- For paper clips
- Stick pins or other little odds and ends.
- To hold pens
- They make good piggy banks as well
Bathroom:
- To hold hair clips
- Cotton balls
- Hold makeup brushes
I'm always finding new ways to reuse stuff so it does not end up in our landfill, I like to think I'm helping our planet in some small way by reusing what I can.
