This is soon to be my new guest room with bath room: Now just to pick the paint color, I am going to paint it two tone and put down new tile on the floor:
Thank God the guest room is all done and ready for my first guest that will be here in a few days, it took me 3 days to get everything painted and moved in to the room. I decided on warm colors for this room so my guest would feel warm and cozy but wanted to keep with the theme I picked for this room: I added a wicker chair in the corner of the room for reading. I picked a clay color for the accent wall and a sand color for the other 3 walls. Cant wait to go to yard sales to find the right stuff to hang on the walls.February 4th Reorganizing and changing my 2nd guest room
We never really have that many guest at one time so I decided to make this room into Our move room where we can watch moves. With a big screen T.V and speakers all around the room. We can still use it as a guest room if needed. It can sleep one the way it is now or we have a air mattress if needed. There are only the two of us now the kids are grown and gone so we had to find something to do with the room. The work we did in this room was: hung dry wall on the ceiling, fixed cracks from the house settling, Hung new ceiling fans, and painted the walls. Everything in this room I found at yard sales Cheap :)
We watched our first movie this past weekend the sound was GREAT I'm very happy with the way this turned out. I liked the Idea of useing two different paint colors, I think it turned out nice.
The deep forst green and brick came together well.
